Class ' Da Vinci ' Surgical Robot Dual Machine Collaborative Remote Operation

Surgical robot remote operation Force feedback master-slave control Minimally invasive surgical simulation Medical robot training Dual hand force feedback equipment Domestic replacement of surgical robots

Background Pain Points

Traditional da Vinci surgical robots have long lacked force feedback, and surgeons can only rely on visual judgment of tissue tension, which poses a risk of tight sutures or tearing. At the same time, the high prices of imported equipment have constrained the widespread application of medical facilities in China.

Solution

The remote operation architecture adopts the dual device collaboration of HFD-6 and HFD-7- the left hand controls the HFD-6 force feedback device, and the right hand controls the HFD-7 force feedback device, respectively controlling two robotic arms. The end of the robotic arm is equipped with surgical instruments, which can perform precise operations such as tissue cutting, vascular separation, and wound suturing.

Technical Highlights

The advantage of the "seventh dimension" of HFD-7 is the addition of a one-dimensional dexterous operating degree of freedom on the basis of the classic six degrees of freedom, perfectly simulating the opening and closing movements of the thumb and index finger of a human hand, suitable for fine grasping and suturing operations, with high fidelity restoration: precise replication of the resistance of tissue cutting, the tension of separation and pulling, and the feedback force of suturing and knotting. Each operation feels infinitely close to the mechanical characteristics of real human tissue.
